![]() Many popular wavetable synthesizers are surprisingly poor at suppressing artifacts – even when set to high quality, some produce artifacts of -36 dB to -60 dB (the level difference between the main ones on the artifacts) that are clearly audible and, in addition, often suppress the most treble wanted audible frequencies in the process to try to suppress this unwanted sound. Artifacts mean that you are (perhaps unknowingly) filling your mix with unwanted tones/frequencies. Without much care and a lot of calculations, this process will create audible artifacts. Wavetable reproduction requires digital resampling to reproduce different frequencies. The processing menu options allow you to perform other tasks you want, such as applying fades, crossfades, normalizing, exporting, and more. Create or process signals using formula functions. Create or modify waveforms using FFT (additive). Draw directly on the waveform with optional grid snapping and a variety of shape tools. Convert between different wavetables using standard linear interpolation (crossfading) or harmonic/spectral transformation. Of course, you can import single-cycle wavetables, as well as multiple ones at once (with built-in sorting options or manual reordering). Import audio directly from audio files – Serum has many methods and options for analyzing audio to break it down into individual waveforms. Serum has a built-in wavetable editor – you can create your own wavetables in a variety of ways. IMPORT YOUR OWN AUDIO / CREATE CUSTOM WAVETABLES WITH EASE The sound is very lively, and most importantly modern. A unison generator that gives up to 16 voices and allows you to flexibly adjust the volume and detune ratio between them. The synthesizer features a huge number of wave tables, and of course the ability to create your own. Serum is a dream wavetable synthesizer, with truly high quality sound, a visual and creatively oriented interface, has a built-in wavetable editor for creating music was not a tedious process.
